No. Certification doesn't mean a coffee has to come from a single farm or estate. Certified coffees can also come from co-operatives and groups of producers that meet the requirements of the relevant certification scheme.

Organic certification covers defined organic production and handling standards, while Rainforest Alliance certification addresses environmental, social and economic requirements within agricultural production.
