India's coffee has real character of its own, with a savoury, spiced edge that sets it apart from the Americas. The milder lots are nutty and heavy, while the country's bolder beans bring strong body and crema to dark roasts and espresso blends.
Both ends of that spectrum make excellent base notes. Indian coffee adds weight and warmth to a blend without adding acidity.
