I roast coffee on a BBQ with a home made stainless steel drum and 60rpm rotisserie mechanism. Batch size is either 250 or 509g per time. We like a reasonably dark roast well after 1st crack and close to 2nd crack but we need to dry lighter roasts where the native bean flavour comes through more. We drink coffee once a day and we want it to be a good fresh coffee. We used to live in Germany where coffee is done so well.
