The Phil™ 5000 is designed for businesses packing larger quantities of dry ingredients where consistent weighing and faster filling are required.

Dry product is loaded into the 32-litre hopper and the required fill weight is entered using the digital controls. The machine then weighs and dispenses the product into the packaging below.

With a filling range of 15g to 5000g, the Phil 5000 can be used with a wide variety of dry ingredients, including coffee beans, grains, seeds, powders and other free-flowing products.

Suitable Products

The Phil 5000 is designed for weighing and dispensing dry ingredients and can accommodate a range of product sizes and consistencies.

For coffee businesses, it can be used to weigh roasted or green coffee into packaging, while its broader dry-product compatibility also makes it suitable for other food production and packing applications.

For products that are particularly fine, irregular, sticky or difficult to flow, we recommend checking suitability before ordering.

Operation

Product is added to the hopper and the required target weight is entered through the machine controls. The weighing system measures the product before dispensing it into the packaging positioned below.

The machine also keeps a running count of completed fills, helping operators monitor production.

The manufacturer’s manual includes controls for target weight, tare, pack count, dispensing and machine calibration.

Construction & Hygiene

Product-contact components are manufactured from Food Grade 304 Stainless Steel, making the machine suitable for food packing applications.

Regular cleaning and calibration are important for maintaining weighing and dispensing performance. Scayl’s manual recommends checking the load cell and cleaning areas where product or dust can accumulate.
